Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information ListenHB collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The short version: we collect almost nothing.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

ListenHB does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Browsing history or listening history

2. Data Stored on Your Device

ListenHB stores the following data locally on your device:

• Saved Favorites: Stream names and URLs you choose to save. These are stored in your device's local storage and, on Apple devices, optionally synced via iCloud (see below).
• Last Played Stream: The most recently played stream URL and name, so playback can resume quickly.
• App Preferences: Notification settings and volume levels.

This data never leaves your device except through iCloud sync on Apple devices, which is controlled by Apple.

3. iCloud Sync (Apple Devices)

On Apple devices, if you have iCloud enabled, your saved favorites are synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. On Android, favorites are stored locally on your device only.

4. Network Connections

ListenHB connects to the following servers to provide its streaming functionality:

• broadcasting.hbni.net — To fetch live stream status, archive listings, and audio streams

These connections transmit only the data necessary to stream audio. Your IP address is visible to the streaming server (as with any internet connection), but we do not log or store it.

5. Notifications

If you enable stream notifications, the App periodically checks the HBNI server for new live streams. This check happens on your device; no data is sent to us. Push notification delivery is handled by Apple's notification service on iOS/macOS and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android.

6. Third-Party Services

ListenHB does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar tools.

7. Children's Privacy

ListenHB does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the App collects no personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
